05/03/07 Two more yeast starters Measured 650mL water, 60 grams light dry malt extract, and .5tsp. yeast energizer for each yeast starter. Placed in pans and heated on high until boiling and foamy. Covered and continued to boil for a minute or two. Removed from heat and placed in water bath to cool, still covered. When finished decanting yeast from starters batch 3, poured new wort (~ 85¡f) through sanitized funnel into flask on top of ~65mL remaining yeast and liquid. Capped with airlock and placed in closet.
